Howard S. Cohen is a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years experience spanning numerous technical disciplines, including consulting, accounting, auditing and tax. Since 1978 Howard has focused his practice on the areas of bankruptcy, debtor/creditor rights, crisis/turnaround consulting, collateral audits, forensic accounting and strategic and business planning.
Howard was formerly a principal and shareholder in a regional accounting and consulting firm where he served as the Chair of the Restructuring & Insolvency Group. He also served as the North American Coordinator of the Worldwide Insolvency Practice for one of the leading networks of independently owned and managed accountancy and business advisory firms. Howard has been appointed by U.S. Federal Bankruptcy and State Courts to serve as a Trustee, Receiver, Examiner, Plan Administrator, Liquidating Trustee, Disbursing Agent, Claims Agent and Replacement Plaintiff.
Howard holds a B.S. in Accounting from Temple University (1966). His education has been supplemented by continuing education courses offered by a host of professional organizations, including the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants where he has Chaired and/or served on numerous educational committees.
