Rethinking a Deal?

After purchasing the cookie company in 2018, Krispy Kreme has sold its’ majority interest in Insomnia Cookies, retaining only a 34% stake in the company. Minority interests can be tricky. Did they just buy themselves a problem? In other M&A news, Google’s efforts to acquire cybersecurity company Wiz fell apart. Wiz has decided to pursue an IPO instead.
