bankruptcy recently, but the proceedings may be slowed by objections filed by
the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation. Brandless, a Soft
Bank-backed company that aimed to disrupt retailing, is closing. The most
valuable asset that remains in the company behind Movie Pass is a business
started in 1989, Moviefone.
Meanwhile, Sears
continues to struggle after emerging from Chapter 11.
