Gregory Harris, MBA Joins Asterion
Asterion, Inc., a leading provider of financial and economic consulting services focused on forensics, valuation, intellectual property and performance optimization is proud to announce the recent addition of Gregory Harris, MBA to enhance Asterion’s Bankruptcy, Fiduciary, Performance Optimization, Restructuring, and Turnaround Services.
Gregory Harris is a business consultant with over thirty-five years of experience, including serving as President, Chief Operating Office, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Restructuring Officer. He has assisted numerous companies to streamline operations and identify more productive methods for achieving better performance, eliminating waste, and reducing expenses, in support of financial restructuring efforts. Gregory has significant experience as an interim executive manager as a court appointed custodian of companies experiencing shareholder disputes, as well as for companies in need of a turnaround manager. He has recently completed court appointed financial restructuring and refinancing of a group of cold storage warehousing and distribution facilities, and serves as an outside board member on both domestic and international companies. During the course of his work experiences, he has led companies through multiple litigations, Internal Revenue Service Offers in Compromise, and various employment practices claims.
His prior work experiences include serving as Chief Restructuring Officer of a regional processor of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, President of a regional home builder, President of a consumer products manufacturer and distributor, in addition to multiple receivership positions of real estate properties. He also has held managerial positions in “big-four” accounting firms. Mr. Harris earned a degree in Public Accounting from Bernard Baruch College, and a MBA at Temple University. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
